Consultations generally
We offer two kinds of consultations: (1) free, for potential full-representation clients, and (2) an affordable, 30-minute consultation on your legal matter.
We are able to consult with you in person or by telephone, AOL Instant Messenger (AIM), or Skype. We are available for in-person consultations on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. We are available for consultations by telephone, AIM, or Skype on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 4:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and on Fridays from 9 a.m. to noon.
Free consultations
We offer free consultations for potential full-representation clients. During the consultation, we will analyze your case to determine whether we can represent you. 30-minute consultations
If you have questions about representing yourself, using our forms, or any other legal questions, sign up for a 30-minute consultation.
To schedule a consultation:
- Read the consultation agreement;
- Pay the $150 retainer fee via PayPal;
- Select at least three dates and times for your consultation; and
- Send any documents you want us to review beforehand.
Consultation agreement
Print out a copy of this consultation agreement for your records.
- Parties. This agreement is made between Samuel J. Glover & Associates, LLC (”we,” “our,” and “us”), and you. This agreement becomes effective when you make payment in full using the Pay Now link below.
- Services provided. We will provide one 30-minute legal consultation in person or by telephone, AIM, or Skype, within 60 days of the date you pay the retainer fee. We will spend up to 15 minutes reviewing any documents you provide before the consultation. You understand that every legal matter is unique and therefore we cannot promise or guarantee any particular result for you. We cannot and will not make any promises about the results in your legal matter.
- Our duties. We will use our best efforts to respond to your legal questions and to assist you in determining the best course of action in your legal matter. This may include making referrals, reviewing documents, providing guidance, or otherwise assisting you, as appropriate.
- Your duties. You agree to be truthful and cooperative. You must provide us with your current address, telephone number, email address, and any other pertinent contact information. You must make the payment required by this agreement, and you expressly represent that you are authorized to use the credit card, debit card, or bank account you use to pay the non-refundable consultation fee.
- Retainer fee. You must pay a non-refundable retainer fee of $150.00. No legal consultation or services will be due to you or provided to you until you pay the non-refundable retainer fee. The retainer fee is non-refundable and we will not return it to you. This non-refundable fee will not be held in any trust account, and it will not be refunded in the event you choose not to schedule a legal consultation.
If you ultimately retain us under a flat-fee or hourly-fee arrangement, we will apply a maximum of $150 towards your retainer fee.
- Termination. Our relationship will terminate at the conclusion of the 30-minute consultation or 60 days after you make payment in full, whichever occurs first.
